James L. Elliot lost his battle with cancer Friday, April 2, 2021.
Jim was born to Richard and Frances (Cash) Elliot on Dec. 22, 1958, in Clarkston. He was the first of five children, including Dan, Peggy, Chuck and Kathy. He grew up in Lapwai and Lewiston, graduating from Lewiston High School in 1977. In high school he was known as “Smokin’ Jim.” He promptly went to work for Potlatch Forests Inc., and got his retirement in 2014.
In the spring of 1981, Jim met the love of his life, Robin. They married that fall. Together, Jim and Robin raised two daughters, Chandra and Rachael.

Arleen S. Jackson returned to heaven Monday, May 14, 2018, after a valiant fight with cancer, surrounded by loved ones.
She was born Oct. 9, 1958, in Lewiston, to Russell and Vernie Eubank. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1977.
Arleen married the love of her life, Destry M. Jackson, on Aug. 24, 2002, in Lewiston. They were later sealed in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temple in Spokane. Leslie Dean Fuchs, 60, of Lewiston, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Lakeside Residential Care, in Winchester. Leslie was born Jan. 6, 1959, in Lewiston, at St. Joseph Hospital, to Carroll J. Fuchs and Beverly Waterbly. He attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School from first to sixth grade, Jenifer Junior High and Lewiston High School.
He was raised and grew up in Lewiston. Leslie lived in Portland, Ore., for three years from 1982 to 1985. He had several jobs, but worked as a roofer most of the time.

David L. Gulliksen, 50, Peck
David Lee Gulliksen, 50, of Peck and formerly of Lewiston, passed away Friday, Aug. 21, 2009, after a five-year-long battle of wills between dad and cancer.
He was born Oct. 16, 1958, to Norm and SaraLee Gulliksen, the second of three boys.
In December 1979, he married Debbie Cash, and together they shared 11 years of marriage and his two baby girls, Shelby and Sheri.
