Comment: Cindy (Streibick) and I have been married 37 years.  She's absolutely wonderful and I'm still not.  We were in trucking here in Lewiston (live and die in Lewiston I. ) for 30 years and sold the company in May of 2016.  Our oldest, Josh, is 36 and is a partner in a Portland law firm.  Ruthie and her husband, Dan Prasil. just moved to Portland; taking with them our six grandchildren; and I'm sure we'll be moving that way in the next few years with many many road trips in between.  Our youngest son, Patrick, lives in Kent, Wa. with his wife, Lily, and has worked for Facebook in Menlo Park and now in Seattle.  We'll be out of town to a wedding during the reuninon and are sorry not to be able to get together to renew old friendships.  I think of many of you often, and with fondness, and hope to hear from you via email.  We don't do "the Facebook" but my email is listed above.

Comment: Hi everyone,

40 years have passed since we received our diplomas . As classmates, friends and Lewiston Bengal graduates so much has been given to forge our lives, raise children or whatever course we took.

I've enjoyed mine and can say I am a very happy man although it would be nice at times to have the vigor and ability the lack of responsibilities we had then, ha !

Every year passes so fast so enjoy and have gratitude for every day .

It will be fun to cross the Rocky Mountains over Lolo Pass to return for the reunion. I work for Fluor Idaho Group at Idaho National Lab for the last 12 years.

I worked teaching classes at Tooele Chemical Weapons Demil Site from 2000 -2005, Hanford Plutonium Weapons Facility from 1992-1999. From 1988-1992 I worked for Liquid Air Corp in Finley Washington and from 1982-1988 for Alpha Biochemical in Richland Washington.

Weapons and Chemicals have been my entire Career other than college and a few short jobs.

Tim Switzer (Switzer)

Occupation: engineer

Linda Thorson

Children: 1
Occupation: Artist
Comment: For the first time I'll be missing a Class of "77 reunion as I'll be traveling to Istanbul and East Africa in celebration of my daughter completing her master's degree in Rwanda. I still enjoy life in Seattle where I've lived since 1988. I continue to work as an artist, and still love being on the road to art festivals on the West Coast, though I'm trying to keep a more thoughtful pace and really take time to enjoy the places I'm visiting. And sometimes see old friends.   I still spend some time in Lewiston with a brother and sister living there, and appreciate the history and natural beauty of the region more and more as time goes on. Highlight memories of LHS always include  Eddy Williams and ALL the friends with the band trips and competitions, spirited assemblies before big games, Mr. McGhee teaching us- literally- to think on our feet and speak thoughtfully, all the fun dances, and Maria DellaMaggiora Ringold and I screaming in terror as a monstrous face appeared in the dark window when we were alone and closing down the Homecoming float work for the evening. And so much more. I'll miss seeing you all, but will definiely plan for the 50th. Have fun!

Kinson VanScotter

Marital status: Married
Occupation: Retired Engineer
Comment: After graduating from LHS I attended LCSC.  I graduated in 1979 with a degree in drafting this is before CAD so we still used pens and pencil on paper or mylar.  I left Lewiston for a job at Hanford nuclear power plant and lived in Richland, WA.

I quit my job at Hanford in 1981 to pursue a BSME at WSU, I am a cougar alumni class of 1985.  I took a job in Kent, WA at FLOW Systems as a design engineer of automated systems using waterjet cutting.  I left FLOW in 1987 and went to Boeing Military Airplanes and worked as a manufacturing and tooling engineer on several classified projects.  About 1994 I moved to Boeing Commercial Airplanes division and worked on the 777, 747-400, 767 and finally 787 programs until I retired in 2014.

I met my wife, Laurie, through friends in 1998.  We got married when we were about 40 years old and neither of us wanted children.  We have a regdoll cat named Lilly Limoux.  For many years my hobby was related to cars antique, classic and modern.  I have now transitioned to art watercolor, acrylic and mixed media.  I also have interest in fused glass and metal sculpture. Laurie and I enjoy traveling to Europe especially southern France.  We try to go each year for 2 months.

The period of my life from grade school through high school is something I try not to think about.  I want to assure my classmates it is nothing to do with them it is about me and my family.  I wish all of my classmates joy, happiness and love.
