Comment: I attended the LHS 10-Year reunion but haven't come back since.  Many of you may remember that I was once a Television News reporter/anchor in Seattle.  I studied journalism at WSU and graduated from the Edward R. Murrow School of Journalism at Washington State University in 1981.  I worked in Spokane, Boise, Omaha, and Seattle, (and even enjoyed working at KLEW-TV for 4 months immediately following my 1981 university graduation).  I won an EMMY Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for my work at KIRO-TV in 1992.  I also worked as an investigative reporter for KTVB-TV in Boise from 1981 to 1984 where I was honored by the Idaho Press Club and the Associated Press as Best Investigative Reporter of 1982 for my work on a series of stories about White Supremecy and Survivalism in Idaho.  The BBC requested that I be a part of its combat corresspondent crew covering the Falklands War from April-June, 1982.  My connection to Omaha comes from time I spent there as an Anchor and Reporter from 1984 to 1989 when I worked for KETV-TV.  My final years as a TV reporter and anchor were spent with KIRO-TV from 1989 to 1992.  I retired from Television News in 1992 to begin a career as a financial consultant and eventually became licensed as an Investment Advisor Representative and Fiduciary (IAR).  I have worked for 3 financial firms over the past 25 years and currently am affiliated with MSI Financial Services, Inc. of Princeton, New Jersey.  However, though I practice throughout the United States I maintain my central office in Omaha where I also maintain a residence.  I recently was engaged to be married to Paula Brandon Pittman and I have two daughters; Sydney and Grace, ages 20 and 16 from a previous marriage.  My hobbies include painting landscapes and portraits in oil in the Impressionist style as well as collecting antiques from the Arts & Crafts period and I am very interested in Collectable American Automobiles from the Post World War II era.  I enjoy travelling a great deal and Paula and I believe in making worldwide travel a priority while we are still young...we dont want to wait until we are retired before we travel abroad.  We enjoy Paris a great deal but I must say New Zealand is by far, the most fascinating and breathtaking locale I have ever encountered.  My life is filled with interesting people and fascinating subjects but I still remain firmly devoted to my beloved WSU Cougars.  I played football for The Cougs while at WSU and I am so very proud that my daughter Grace is carrying on the Penrod family tradition of attending and graduating from Washington State University.  In Omaha my old LHS Classmate Mike Adkins has also settled down and "Spike" and I get together fairly frequently but we miss our old pals Mark Trigsted, Mike Raffety, and especially Randy Geary who is now the world famous vascular surgeon Dr. Randolph Geary of the Wake Forest University Medical Center.  I am very proud of all my LHS classmates who graduated from High School with me and went out into the world and have endevoured to make it a better place.  I believe our Class of 1977 was a truly remarkable group of excellent young people who have all turned to be successful adults in their own way.  In my opinion the LHS Class of 1977 was the Greatest Class Ever!

Comment: It's great to say hello to everyone, sorry I won't be able to attend the reunion. Thanks for alerting me. I enjoy hearing how everybody's doing. My wife Jacquie and I live in Saratoga Springs, Utah - about halfway between the University of Utah and BYU, which is about right because I attended both schools. I was a business owner in senior care in Northern Virginia for a number of years and now work in finance. We have four adult children, three boys and a girl, and five grandchildren. I still dabble in the arts and love creative writing. I didn't see Russ Saxton on the board - he and I see each other or talk frequently. He teaches theater at Utah Technical University in St. George and prior to that spent over 30 years as a drama director at Dixie High School. He has two adult children and several grandchildren. Since my parents passed away I don't get to Lewiston too much any more, but plan to visit there next summer - maybe I'll run into some of you. It's been a good life so far. I'm very grateful for all of you - who influenced me for good, which helped set my course in life.

Comment: Hey LHS Class of 77!! I've been to a couple of our past reunions and plan on making it to this one as well. ..

I have lived on the southern Oregon coast since 78 and have been medically retired from my office management position at Southwestern Oregon Community College where I worked for almost 18 yrs. I tried to make the move back to Lewiston when I retired but only made it about 6 yrs. I never could let go of my Oregon property. .. I missed my Oregon family (3 kids, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren with another on the way and brother/sister in law), the ocean, dunes and beaches too much so am back at my home on the coast.

I liked to travel with my favorite place so far being the Big Island of Hawaii. I love the ocean, scuba diving and that great weather.

Hope to see you all soon! !
