Jerome “Jerry” Eikum passed away, surrounded by his wife and children, on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Jerry was born on Aug. 4, 1959, in Lewiston, to Gerald “Gene” and Marilyn Eikum. Together they had two children, Jerry and his older brother, Steve. Gene later married Linda Arnot, giving Jerry a stepbrother, Mark Arnot, and stepsister, Lori Ayres.
As a child, Jerry enjoyed tennis, snow skiing, camping and fishing. His most cherished memories were fishing with his dad on the North Fork of the Clearwater River.
Jerry graduated from Lewiston High School in 1977 and went on to college at the University of Idaho, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
In 1984, Jerry met the love of his life, Cindie Sprenger. Together they have two children, Tara and Tyler.
Jerry spent most of his life as a certified public accountant and a financial adviser. He participated in Rotary Club; spent 10 years on the Lewiston Roundup Board; and volunteered on the Winter Spirit board. If he wasn’t working or volunteering, Jerry could either be found on the racquetball court or fishing on the North Fork.
