Carmen went to join her daddy, brother and best childhood friend in heaven Sept. 24, 2012. She will be greatly missed!
Carmen J. Anderson-Clark was born to Karin F. Guinn April 16, 1958, in Missoula, Mont. They then moved to Lewiston in 1962. Her daddy, Jerry Guinn, came into her life in 1965.
Carmen attended school in both Lewiston and Clarkston and participated in 4-H and DECA.
She was a hard worker and known by many for her smile and huge heart. Many children adopted her as mom; she would take anyone in who needed a place to go. Carmen worked at many places throughout the valley, such as: Italian Gardens, The Helm, A and B Foods, Clokes, The Alibi and Curleys 1 and 2, Riverview Motel (The Tapp) and Regence. She then had to retire due to disability.
Carmen met Alan Anderson and they married in 1976. They had two children. They later divorced. She then met Mitchell Edwards and they spent 15 years together. They had one daughter. She later married Robert Clark. They later divorced. Carmen finally met her soul mate, Jimmy Kemper, in 2007.
Carmen is survived by her partner, Jimmy Kemper; her mom, Karin Guinn; her brothers, Phillip Guinn and Mike Voiss; sisters Ann Bogar and Cori Marchbanks; children, Andrew Anderson, Casie Anderson, Craig Mellick (Honey) and Chloe Edwards; grandchildren, Tyler Pope, Sienna Anderson, Nikyia Anderson, Drew Anderson and Trinity Hosley; niece, Kayla Loop; and many other nieces and nephews; best friends Pam Deyo and Sheri Arnold; and many other friends. She was preceded in death by "Daddy" Jerry Guinn; and brothers, Marc Johnson, Steve Johnson and Dallas Elam.
There will be a memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday at Kiwanis Park in Lewiston. A covered-dish dinner will follow from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewiston Eagles Lodge downstairs. Please provide your own seating at the park if desired.
