Kristen Jo Park Santos, 26, died Saturday, January 19, 1985, at a Salt Lake City hospital.

She was born January 8, 1959, in La Grande, Oregon, a daughter of Frank Eugene and Barbara Jean Shurtliff Park.  She married Robin D. Santos June 8, 1979, in the Manti LDS Temple. 

She was a member of the LDS Church and was a primary teacher, stake music coordinator, ward chorister, stake primary president, twice relief society president and counselor in the stake relief society.  She attended Lewiston, Idaho, schools and graduated in 1977 as the class Valedictorian.  She attended Brigham Young University and Utah State University. She was active in student government, was a cheerleader, a member of the drill team, enjoyed drama and music, and was Jr. Miss Lewiston in 1977.

 

She is survived by her husband of Logan; two sons and one daughter, Jacob Daniel, Scott Robert and Jamie Marie Santos, all of Logan; her parents of Lewiston; two sisters, Babzanne Barker, Littleton, Colorado; Linda Merrell, St. George; grandparents, Ray and Dorothy Shurtliff, Nampa, Idaho, and Mary Park, Nampa, Idaho.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 PM at the Logan 41st Ward Chapel, 6th South 1st West, with Bishop Don Shaffer conducting.  Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9 PM at Allen-Hall Mortuary and at the ward one hour prior to services. Burial will be Thursday at noon in the Annabella Cemetery.
