Bruce was born in Lewiston Oct. 18, 1958, to William A. and Mary Albright Jacobs. He lived his entire life in Lewiston, graduating from Lewiston High School in 1977. Bruce W. Jacobs, 43, died Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at Lewiston.
He was active in Scout Troop 144, sponsored by the Lewiston United Methodist Church. He was a member of Order of the Arrow and attained his Eagle Scout badge at age 16.
Bruce was an enthusiastic bicyclist and enjoyed many rides, including "I Made the Grade," Whitebird Hill Climb and the Winchester Climb. He was employed at Potlatch Corp. for a short time and Twin City Foods for the last 23 years.
His parents and two brothers, Ray of Lewiston and Michael and wife Diana of Culdesac, survive him.
Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Malcom's Brower-Wann Memorial Chapel at Lewiston. A graveside service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Normal Hill Cemetery at Lewiston. The Rev. Betty Smith of the First United Methodist Church of Lewiston will officiate.
