In loving memory of Lezlie (Les) Barnes.
Les passed away Saturday, March 29, 2008, at the age of 48, with her family and friends by her side in Lewiston after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her parents, Mary A. Barnes and Barry M. Barnes; her siblings, Chad Barnes of Hawaii, Brenda Barnes Bonfield, Brice Barnes and his wife Leslie; and the absolute apples of her eye - nieces, Breanna KC Bonfield and Brooke Hope Barnes, who thank God for the time they had with her. She also had a close companion, Larry Maruyama, who cared for her when she lived in Boise. Les went to heaven leaving beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and her sweet dog, Rico.
Les fell in love with jewelry right out of high school and worked in the jewelry industry throughout her career. She became a certified gemologist and had a wonderful talent designing pieces. Les had wonderful stories of her travels abroad on buying excursions. She also had a passion for tropical plants and warm weather.
She lived her life to the fullest, enjoying the company of many kind friends and family. We all loved her beauty, excellent meals, generosity and laughter.
Les is missed greatly by family and friends and we will love, honor and remember her forever. Rest in peace Les, we all love you.
